Please read our COVID Policy and check back frequently. As we navigate through these times, we expect to make changes to comply with the guidance and mandates set by the state of Vermont.

Per the State of Vermont: The Outdoor Center and all of its facilities, are only available to:

  • Residents of Vermont, or
  • Have completed a 14 day quarantine in place, or a 7 day quarantine followed by a negative COVID test. (As of November 10, the state has suspended its leisure travel map and implemented a mandatory quarantine for anyone returning or traveling to Vermont.)

Failure to comply with the state’s travel and quarantine restrictions may result in a loss of future skiing and riding privileges.

The health and safety of our community is our priority. All of us have a shared responsibility to each other so that we can all continue to enjoy the trails and the amazing resource that Catamount provides.

All Users, Guests & Staff:

  • Maintain recommended social distancing
  • Wear a face covering whenever in the presence of another person
  • Avoid congregating
  • Agree to follow all federal/state and local guidelines
  • Stay home when exhibiting any symptoms of respiratory illness

The State of Vermont requires all ski areas (nordic & alpine) to keep an electronic record of each individual visiting the facility on any given day. In response, COFC has built a check-in procedure for each visitor to complete each time they visit the facility. Every person will be required to complete the online form.

This information will be kept on file for 30 days, for contract tracing purposes only.

All visitors to Catamount are responsible to self-screen for symptoms by answering the following questions:

1) In the past 14 days, have you had close contact with a person confirmed to have COVID-19?

2) Today, or in the past 24 hours, have you had any of the following symptoms?

  • Fever (>100.4F) or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

The State of Vermont requires that all visitors attest that they are in compliance with the state’s travel and quarantine policies. We have included this attestation on the same form where we collect your contact tracing information.

Please see the State of Vermont’s document for more details:
