Get outside this winter at Catamount!

Team camaraderie and collective stoke are catalysts for pushing personal limits and encouraging others, while growing as a person and as an athlete. We are thrilled to be offering Catamount’s Winter Club & Camp for the 2023-2024 winter season.

Winter Vacation: February 26th – March 1st

Winter Wanderers Camp

At Winter Wanderers, we will explore the wonders of winter in a fun, meaningful, and experiential way!

Join us in exploring the Catamount Community Forest while enjoying winter activities like snowshoeing and cross-country skiing (no previous experience necessary). In addition to being active outside, campers will learn about basic outdoor skills, winter ecology, Leave No Trace, and environmental stewardship. We will also investigate our surroundings as real snow scientists thanks to our camps integrated SnowSchool curriculum. Our week of adventures may also include snow sculpture and igloo construction, winter scavenger hunts, winter art projects, animal track and tree species recognition, navigation, sledding, team building, and more!

Registration will be limited to 20 individuals.

Cancellation Policy: To ensure fairness and adequate notice, please be advised that any cancellations or modifications to your booking must be submitted before February 1st to be eligible for a refund. A $50 administrative fee will be deducted from the refund amount. For cancellations or changes made from February 1st up until two weeks prior to the start of the camp week, a 50% refund will be provided. Regrettably, cancellations after February 14th cannot be refunded. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with this policy.

Catamounts Winter Club

Catamount Winter Club

Join Catamount’s new Winter Club to experience different types of winter sports, fun team adventures, and skill advancement.

Every Sunday, we will explore all of Catamount with the day light to guide us. There will be cross country ski lessons, snowshoeing adventures, sledding and potential for fat tire biking! Club members will also learn about snow science, winter ecology, and cold weather survival. 

On rainy or subzero temperature days, club members will meet at Catamount’s indoor space to keep the fun rolling. Activities could include winter arts and crafts, equipment maintenance, Leave No Trace skills, avalanche demos and more!

All staff have undergone criminal records check and SafeSport training. Winter Club will have a member to staff ratio of 1:8 and coaches will never be one on one with club members.

When: January 7th to March 17th
*Sunday’s from 10AM – 2PM.

Who: Youth ages 8-12

Where: COFC

Cost: Monthly options range from $225 (Jan/Feb) to $150 (March).

Rental Options:
$50 per month gets your club member access to xc ski, snowshoe, fat bike, and sled rentals for all club dates and timeframes.

The rental cost does not change if your club member has their own equipment (ex. they have skis but need snowshoes).
