Catamount opened the trails for mountain biking in the late 1980’s and has continued to change and grow with the sport ever since.

TERRAIN

With over 20 miles of trails, including single track and double track to explore, Catamount has something to offer everyone. Explore the wide gravel trails throughout forest and fields. Challenge your skills on our single track network and find the trail side features throughout the property. Visit our two great pump tracks and wooden features to refine your fundamental skills before testing yourself on the advanced park, complete with a dual slalom course, 2 jump lines, progressive drops and more! Catamount has much to offer mountain bikers of all ages and abilities.

RENTALS

We have some sweet new Salsa Cycles Spearfish 29″ full suspension rentals in a variety of adult sizes available. We also have a Scott youth bike fleet coming soon!

Rentals are first come first serve.

EVENTS & HAPPENINGS

In addition to our trail network, Catamount offers numerous mountain bike events and programs such as our Weekly Race Series for MTB and CX, a youth summer camp program that has been running for over 20 years, a Cycling Club for youth ages 8-12, and clinics and lessons for adult and youth.

Bike Rental 20″-24″ Tires: $20

Day Membership Fee: $10.00/adults; $5/youth (5 and under are free)

2023 Bike Rental Damage Policy

When Catamount staff review a returning bike rental, below are the types of damage that need to be paid for by guests.

  • Dented or bent parts, including frame, stem, fork and shock, crank arms, pedals
  • Kinked or damaged hoses, housing or cables
  • Bent brake rotors, damage to brake housing and levers  
  • Wheel out of true
  • Hole in tire
  • Bent or broken chain, derailleur, chainring or cassette
  • Scratched shock or fork on the travel piston
  • Overall suspension damage
  • Cleaning fee

If any of these are found on a returning rental bike, Catamount’s Fleet Manager will assess the damage for a cost. Staff will collect your credit card information and use it when we get the bill from our Fleet Manager or partner shop.

Damages that don’t require guest payment include:

  • Minor scratches
  • Tires need air
