DONATIONS & SPONSORSHIPS

Make a Donation Today

Hello Catamount family,

Happy Summer! Please help support the Catamount Outdoor Family Center with a donation to our 2026 Annual Fund.

Summer is busy with our biggest camp season yet, significant growth in the running and mountain bike race series and continuing planning and permitting efforts for trail upgrades and our new community building. Trail and facilities maintenance work also took high priority. All of these initiatives were helped with gifts of both time and money from YOU!

We’re upgrading Elbow to Balsams, Balsams all the way to Cliffs of Insanity and rebuilding the two pump tracks.

We’re a few weeks away from receiving our Act 250 permit amendment that will let us begin work. The three year planning and permitting process has already required over $100,000 in COFC investments.

With support from Recreational Trails Program and Northern Forest Center grants covering a big chunk of the project, we’re excited to start construction, but need your help to finish.

There are lots of ways to be part of this vital work. Donate to our Trail Fund. Share machinery, tools and materials. Volunteer on trail days. Become a member or renew your COFC membership.

This project will reduce impacts, increase sustainability, allow Balsams to be open much of the year, improve experiences for pedestrians, bikers, snowshoers and skiers, create a fun adaptive friendly beginner route from the parking lot deep into the network, and maximize our easily accessible learning areas for all ages.

As a small non-profit with big responsibilities, your Annual Fund gift is vital for our long term health and sustainability. All of this work is essential for the Catamount Community Forest trail network and the Catamount Outdoor Family Center.

Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you on the trails and sharing in your adventures at Catamount!

Sincerely,

John Atkinson: Executive Director

Amanda Preston: Operations and Events Manager

Andy Coddington : Trails and Facilities Manager

Sequoia Young: Community Engagement and Systems Manager

John Homiller: Guest Service Attendant
