MOUNTAIN BIKE CAMP

Roll into summer at Catamount’s famous Mountain Bike Camps! Our friendly progressive terrain paired with patient, inspirational and fun coaches allows kids to grow as riders and as people. We take pride in sharing our love for mountain biking and the natural world, and hope to grow lifelong passions in our campers.

Campers will learn safe techniques and essential habits for riding bikes confidently on any terrain. We have a great variety of learning areas and tools, with pumptracks, wooden features, manual trainers, dual slalom and drop, rock and jump lines, in addition to our entire network of trails. Catamount Outdoor Family Center is one of the best places to learn to be a better rider, both because of the terrain and the coaches!

All Catamount OFC camps integrate environmental awareness and stewardship. We teach Leave No Trace and land ethic, always taking the time to learn more about the forest that our great trails reside on. Trail maintenance and building are key components in camps too.

Catamount OFC offers three Mountain Bike Camps based on campers’ ages.

  • Half day morning MTB camp for ages 6-7
  • Full day MTB camps for ages 8-10
  • Full day MTB camps for ages 11-14

All Catamount OFC camps are staffed with the ability to split up into mild and spicy groups to meet everyone’s riding needs.

If your camper is more interested in learning about the natural environment while exploring on foot and on bikes, check out our Explorers Camp options, here.

Need help getting your camper’s skills ready for camp? Check out our lesson options!

Bike requirements for all Catamount OFC camps: All bikes used at camps must have gears, hand brakes (rim or disc), and pedals (no striders/kick bikes).
