Join us for a 2-hour Intermediate MTB Clinic and take your bike skills to the next level!

In this clinic, we’ll build upon your beginner skills while exploring intermediate trails and terrain, including roots, rocks, dirt, and wood features. We’ll also play bike games as we practice drills and refine key skills. Focus areas include braking, body positioning, and skill blending (braking, riding, shifting, and pedaling).
⚠️ Prerequisites:

Completion of a beginner skills clinic at Catamount within the last 3 years, or
-
Demonstration of all of the following skills:
- -Eyes forward, scanning ahead while riding
- -Covering brakes with one finger while riding
- -Use of both brakes to slow down and stop
- -“Neutral” and “Ready” riding positions
- -Pedaling on flat and varied terrain
- -Stand-up riding on flat and varied terrain with even pedals
- -Turning in both directions

Please bring your bike, helmet, water, snack, and any other gear you need to feel comfortable. Need a rental bike? We have a limited selection available; first come, first served.
⚠️ Supervision Requirements:
All youth under age 14 must have a guardian on-site during any lesson, clinic, or tour; Youth under age 8 must have a guardian registered with them for any clinic.
