Here are our 2025 Race Courses; 2026 courses coming soon!
2025 Black Arrows on White Squares
For fans of grassy field loops our 2025 south side course features the best views on the property. It also highlights a few rocky bits like Shovelhead and Mullet. Half lap will turn down Sumacs instead of going into the Elliot Oaks, making for 1.4mi course.
2025 Red Arrows on Black Squares
Red arrows on Black Squares course does a tour of the Sandman’s trail and most of its adjacent single track. Rolling terrain with no significant grade change leads the racer all the way to the famous Cow path before turning around and heading back. Half lap will skip Cliffs of Insanity and use the Sandman’s Cuttoff for a total of 1.8mi course.
2025 Yellow Arrows on Green Squares
The 2025 Lookout challenge will again follow Yellow arrows on Green squares. The course climbs up to the Lookout picnic table on Pop’s trail before descending on Coyote Turnpike. A final climb up Newts Ridge before returning to the parking lot will be sure to exhaust any legs. Half lap will skip Lookout and descend Labyrinth after the initial climb under the powerlines for a total of 1.7mi course.

COFC uses the Weather Underground Hourly Forecast to make weather-related decisions. If the forecast is showing a 60% chance (or higher) for thunderstorms between 5:30-7:30pm, we will cancel the race for that evening. We will make cancellation decisions between 4pm and 5pm the day of the race, and will announce it on our Facebook and Instagram stories.
Should thunder occur while you are waiting for the race to start or while the race is underway, we kindly ask that you return to to your vehicle for everyone’s safety. The Race Director will keep everyone informed on site.
We are currently offering in-person race options only. Participants may choose from Adult, Student/Senior, or Family race series registrations for Trail Running, Mountain Biking, or both series.
