MEMBERSHIPS
Annual bike, ski, full access and supporting memberships for the 2025-2026 season are available now!
Your membership support is vital for the sustainability of the trail network and the Catamount Outdoor Family Center’s long term health. We literally can’t do it without you.
The COFC currently invests about $100,000 in trail and facilities stewardship. In 2026, this will likely grow to over $200,000, with the majority of the increase going directly into the trailhead area, Elbow and Balsams trail project.
Join the Catamount Outdoor Family Center community!
The Catamount Outdoor Family Center (COFC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit located on the Catamount Community Forest (CCF), which is owned by the Town of Williston. The COFC manages the trail system as well as the recreational and educational opportunities on the property, while the town oversees the management of the forests, fields, and wetlands.
COFC’s funding comes from memberships, program fees, donations and sponsorships. Our work is not supported by town funding or taxpayer dollars.
Your support through membership is vital to the long-term health of our operations. Membership helps us maintain over 25 miles of trails year-round, including extensive winter grooming, summer mowing, and drainage work, as well as planning for major network-wide upgrades to reduce environmental impacts and enhance fun, durability, and accessibility.
Membership also enables us to continue offering high-quality educational programs and outdoor recreational opportunities on the CCF, including our camps, clubs, and events. Support your community and become a COFC member today!
Please note:
- COFC’s Membership cycles run November 1st to October 31st of the following year.
- All memberships are non-refundable once purchased. Exceptions are not made for injury, illness, or inclement weather. Thank you for your understanding and support through membership.
- Youth memberships are for individuals ages 6-17; Senior memberships start at 65 years of age; Ages 5 and under are free.
- Family memberships should include immediate family only. If you have more than five people in your family, we kindly ask that you consider purchasing a second family membership to support the nonprofit.
-
Camp Access: We encourage you to consider a Family Membership when registering multiple campers for multiple weeks, as this helps support Catamount OFC as a non-profit organization. Adult memberships can be used to register multiple children for one or more weeks. For Youth and Supporting memberships, we ask that only one camper entry be submitted per membership, with multiple session dates allowed but higher membership encouraged if you are able.
NEW for the 2025/26 Season:
We’re making things easier and greener; starting this season, Catamount membership cards are going digital!
What does this mean for you?
No more physical membership mailers will be sent out. Instead, when you purchase your membership online, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your membership details and access to your benefits.
When you arrive at Catamount, just stop by the Hub window and give your name. Our staff will check you in as a member and share any important trails or event information we have for that day.
Prefer the adorable packet we used to send?
No problem! If you’d still like a physical card and welcome packet, just email us at lessons@catamountoutdoor.org, and we’ll send one your way. We’ve got you covered!
