Tree ID Walk

Learn to identify trees by more than just their leaves. Join Kate Forrer, Vermont Woodlands Association and Ethan Tapper, Chittenden County Forester, for a walk at the Catamount Outdoor Family Center located on the Catamount Community Forest for some tree ID.

We will discuss twig, bud, and bark characteristics of several native species, as well as discuss the role of stewardship in keeping forests healthy.
