Please join us for a trail run at the Catamount Outdoor Family Center on May 2nd, 2026! This event honors the memory of Madie Saltsburg, a devoted UVM student, Army ROTC Cadet, and passionate outdoorswoman known for her love of climbing, backcountry skiing, and exploration of Vermont’s natural beauty. On March 9, 2024, Madie passed away on a backcountry skiing trip on Tuckerman’s Ravine trail in New Hampshire. As we run the Catamount OFC trails, let’s honor Madie’s enduring spirit and passion for the outdoors.
