Ride Trails. Build Skills. Make Friends.

Catamount’s bike clubs are fun, skill-building programs designed for young riders ages 7–14 to help  build confidence, improve their riding skills, and develop a lifelong love of mountain biking and the environment.

With experienced coaches, small group sizes, and access to the amazing trails of Catamount Community Forest, riders learn in a supportive, all-kids environment where progress, teamwork, and fun come first.

What a Typical Session Looks Like

Each practice blends playful and purposeful activities:

  • Warm-up games and dynamic stretching
  • Exciting trail rides to get hearts pumping and build endurance
  • Skill sessions focused on bike handling, cornering, climbing, and descending
  • On rainy or inclement weather days, sessions move indoors to focus on bike maintenance, technical skills, and hands-on learning.

We encourage riders to attend session dates and races as often as possible to get the most out of the season, make new friends, and develop lasting skills.

Race Opportunities

All club members are welcome to participate in the weekly Wednesday MTB Race at 6 PM.

Beyond riding skills, Clovers Roller’s encourages teamwork, perseverance, and a love for the outdoors. Coaches foster a positive environment where riders support one another, challenge themselves, and celebrate progress along the way.

Participants will also learn about trail stewardship and Leave No Trace principles while exploring the beautiful trails of the Catamount Community Forest.

Riders should be able to pedal independently, stop using hand brakes, steer confidently, and have some experience riding on unpaved paths or gentle terrain. Training wheels and strider bikes are not permitted. If your child still needs support learning to ride, please check out our private lessons.
