DESCRIPTION:Youth Ride & Bike Games Clinic\nPresented by Catamount Outdoor Family Center + Flow State MTB Festival \nJoin us for a day of family-friendly mountain biking fun as Catamount Outdoor Family Center (COFC) and the Flow State MTB Festival team up to bring you two exciting\, youth-centered events! Whether you’re a young rider looking to explore local trails or ready to show off your skills in a fun\, supportive setting\, we’ve got something for everyone. \nPLEASE NOTE:These offerings take place at the Flow State Mountain Bike Festival and require a Flow State festival ticket in addition to any Catamount clinic fees. Please review all festival information and purchase your festival pass on the Flow State website. \n\nMorning Ride: Beginner Youth-Focused Group Ride\nTime: 9:00 AM (on trails by 9:10 AM)Duration: Approximately 2 hoursFor: Youth ages 8-14Location: Flow State – meet at the Catamount tentGroup Leads: Tammy and JustinCapacity: Up to 16 participants \nKick off the day with a mellow-paced\, confidence-building group ride. Designed especially for beginner youth riders\, this ride explores the scenic trail network at Flow State with guidance from experienced ride leaders. If group size allows\, riders can choose between a “Spicy” or “Mild” ride\, depending on their comfort level and desired pace. \nImportant Note: Riders must be able to confidently ride on flat\, varied terrain\, turn in both directions\, and stop safely when directed. This is not a beginner bike lesson\, but a group ride for those who already have basic bike-handling skills. \nRegister for the Youth Group Ride HERE! \n\nMidday Fun: Catamount Bike Games Clinic (Family Welcome)\nTime: 11:00 AMDuration: 1 hourFor: Youth ages 8-14Location: Flow State – meet at the Catamount tentGroup Leads: Tammy and JustinCapacity: Up to 16 participants \nStick around after the ride for the Catamount Bike Games Clinic. Enjoy an hour of pure fun on two wheels. Compete (or just play) in crowd favorites like the MTB slow race\, dab\, and bike limbo. It’s all about balance\, laughs\, and learning new skills in a laid-back setting. \nRegister for the Bike Games Clinic HERE! \n\nA Partnership Rooted in Community\nThis special day is part of an exciting collaboration between Catamount Outdoor Family Center\, known for their year-round youth and family bike programs\, and the Flow State MTB Festival\, Vermont’s premier celebration of all things mountain biking.
