DESCRIPTION:Join us every Thursday evening this winter for a fun and social fat bike ride and snowshoe through the Catamount Community Forest with the Catamount Outdoor Family Center! \nStarting mid-December through mid-March (weather dependent)\, ride and stomp from 6:00 PM–8:00 PM with the Catamount Crew. Guided by experienced riders and tour guides\, often volunteer Board Members\, this is a great way to explore the trails\, meet other fat bikers or snowshoers\, learn more about Catamount OFC\, and stay active all winter long. \nAll are welcome! \nDetails: \n\nWhen: Thursdays\, 6:00 PM meet / 6:15 PM ride-out\nWhere: Catamount Outdoor Family Center parking lot Hub\nPace: Ride – InterMellow (social\, no-drop pace)\, Snowshoe – Easy\nLevel: Ride – Intermediate\, Snowshoe – Beginner\nTerrain: Ride – Intermediate\, Snowshoe – Beginner\nDuration: ~1.5–2 hours\nCost: Ride – Free for members; $15–$20 Day Membership for non-members (donations appreciated). Snowshoe – Free\, donations appreciated. DESCRIPTION:In partnership with the Richard Tom Foundation (RTF)\, we are thrilled to announce the 6th Annual Fat Bike Rally at the Catamount OFC!\nJoin us in exploring the fat bike trails throughout the Catamount Community Forest for free on *February 22nd*\, 2026. Grab your fat bike\, or one of the free demo bikes provided at the event\, and join in on the fun as we celebrate winter biking together! \nBack in 2020\, The RTF provided matching funds to individual donors to help raise the money needed to purchase the SnowDog groomer that Catamount OFC uses on our fat bike network! COFC and RTF have rallied each year since then to offer this space for folks to come together and enjoy this winter sport. \nSchedule for the day: \n\n10am: 30 minute demo bike windows kick off\n10am: 60 min Group Ride with RTF Team and volunteers\n11:00am: 6o min Group Ride with RTF Team and volunteers\n12pm: Food provided by RTF – donation appreciated.\n1pm: 60 min Group Ride with RTF Team and volunteers\n\nThis years event has a limited number of fat bike demos available. We have limited our fleets to 30 minute demos so more folks in the community are able to enjoy them at this event. \nChili and hot chocolate will be provided by the Richard Tom Foundation starting around lunch time.
