DESCRIPTION:Join us for our 5 week cyclocross series this fall.\n\n2025 CX Wednesday Dates (Register Here!)\n\n\n\nWeek 1: September 10th @5:30pm\nWeek 2: September 17th @5:30pm\nWeek 3: September 24th @5:30pm\nWeek 4: October 1st @5:30pm\nWeek 5: October 8th @5:30pm & End of Season Celebration!\n\n\n\nCancellation Policy: Any series cancellations must be made prior to August 15th in order to receive a refund\, minus a $50 administrative fee. Any cancellations received after August 15th but before September 1st are eligible for a 50% refund only. Cancellations made after September 1st will not be eligible for any refund. Any single-night entries are non-refundable at the time of purchase. Should Catamount OFC need to cancel a race for any reason\, single-night entries will be carried over to the following race night.\n\nWhat is Cyclocross?\nFor those new to the sport you may be asking ‘What is Cyclocross?’ Although cyclocross shares some aspects of both mountain biking and road racing\, it is it’s own sport and you can expect some of the following features including; being on & off the bike\, stepping over natural & artificial barriers\, quick entry & exiting of corners\, hard surfaces transitioning to soft\, and negotiating tricky off-camber sections. Don’t let this intimidate you though. Cyclocross if fun! \nThe length of the course is 2.5-3.5 km and is designed for the skinny-tired cyclocross bike\, not a full-suspension mountain bike (a regular mountain bike is tolerable\, just expect more friction). \nIf you have never tried CX racing but always wanted to give it a shot\, this could be your year! Catamount always has a supportive environment for those who are just getting introduced to the sport. Hungry for competition? Not to worry\, test your skills against some of the best athletes. Either way the atmosphere is always welcoming and fun for the whole family. \n\n2025 CX SERIES RATES:\n\nAdult 5 Week Series: $100\nStudent/Senior 5 Week Series: $90\nFamily 5 Week Series: $160\n\n2025 CX SINGLE NIGHT RATES:\n\n\nSingle Night Entries for Cyclocross can be done on BikeReg : $25/ person *Please note that registration online closes at 3:00pm on race days.*\nSingle Night Entries at Catamount’s Hub: $30 *Please note that registration closes 5:15pm on site on race nights*\n\nRegister Here!

SUMMARY:2025 Social Thursday Guided Ride
DESCRIPTION:Thursday Evening MTB Social Ride – Intermediate & AboveJoin us at Catamount every Thursday evening this fall for our volunteer-led guided Social Rides! \nBring a bike light or headlamp if you have one as its getting darker earlier in the evenings and you may want more light towards the end of the ride. \nStarting on May 15th and running each Thursday (weather dependent) until ~mid-October\, ride through the Catamount Community Forest from 6:00pm to 8:00pm with Catamount OFC community. These rides\, designed for more experienced riders\, are a great way to meet other enthusiast in the community and explore Catamount’s trail network. \nThe Thursday series increases in difficulty each week and then resets at the start of the following month. For these rides\, we will use double-track as well as green\, blue\, and some black single-track trails\, which are more technical and ideal for those who are comfortable on their bikes and a variety of terrain.
