DESCRIPTION:Join us at Catamount every Monday evening this winter season for our guided\, female focused\, weekly outing. Please use this sign up sheet to help us prepare for how many folks plan to attend each  Ladies Night.  \nStarting around mid-December and running each Monday (weather dependent) until mid-March\, enjoy riding\, gliding\, and stomping through the Catamount Community Forest from 6:00pm to ~7:45pm.  This is a great way to meet other folks in the community and learn trails at Catamount! \nWhat: Ladies Mondays (We’re Skiing)\nWhen: Every Monday (weather dependent) Meet: @6:00 / Head out @6:15\nWhere: Meet up at Catamount parking lot Hub\nPace: Gentle/casual (use of green and some blue single track trails)\nLevel: Beginner focused but not a lesson- check out our lesson options instead!\nTerrain: Novice progressing to intermediate\nDuration: ~1.5 to 2 hours\nCost:$5 for members; $25 for non-members\nBring: Headlamp\, water\, personal equipment\, layers and hand warmers\, snacks as needed. \nLooking for a weekly fat ride? DESCRIPTION:In partnership with the Richard Tom Foundation (RTF)\, we are thrilled to announce the 5th Annual Fat Bike Rally at the Catamount OFC!\nJoin us in exploring the fat bike trails throughout the Catamount Community Forest for free on February 9th\, 2025. Grab your fat bike\, or one of the free demo bikes provided at the event\, and join in on the fun as we celebrate winter biking together! \nBack in 2020\, The RTF provided matching funds to individual donors to help raise the money needed to purchase the SnowDog groomer that Catamount OFC uses on our fat bike network! COFC and RTF have rallied each year since then to offer this space for folks to come together and enjoy this winter sport. \nSchedule for the day: \n\n9am: 30 minute demo bike windows kick off\n9am: 60 min Group Ride with Catamount OFC ED and staff\n11:00am: 6o min Group Ride with RTF Team\n12pm: Food provided by RTF – donation required.\n1pm: 60 min Group Ride with Catamount OFC BOD and staff\n\nWho will be there? COFC Staff and Board\, RTF Team \, Vermont Mountain Bike Association (VMBA)\, Little Bellas\, Bicycle Express\, SDR Clothing Company and more! \nThis years event has a limited number of fat bike demos available supported by Catamount OFC and Bicycle Express. We have limited our fleets to 30 minute demos so more folks in the community are able to enjoy them at this event.  Although the demos are complementary\, a credit card is required to be held on file for Catamounts fleet s in case of damages. \nPriority will be given to those who have preregistered for a group ride or demo time. \nBurgers & Brats will be provided by the Richard Tom Foundation starting around lunch time. \nAdvanced registration to this free event is asked for to help us plan for attendance and manage demos.
