Grab your bells and horns and come cheer with us while enjoying music\, campfire\, and community! \nAs in prior years\, we will host Tuesday evening Trail Running Series from May through September. \nThe weekly in-person trail running race start times are as follows: \n\n6:00pm: Cadet (1/2 lap) racers\n6:05pm: Cubbies race\n6:15pm: 5K\n\nThere will be a 10k option the first Tuesday of each month that also starts at 6:15pm. \nFor more information and to register for the full series\, please visit our race series page \nSingle night entries can be found on RunReg.com by searching Catamount. Online registration will close at noon on race dates. \nNight of registration will occur at Catamount’s Hub from 3:30-5:45pm.

We are thrilled to once again offer the Catamount Cycling Club for the 2023 riding season. \nThe Cycling Club is designed for young riders with a passion for the outdoors and their sport!\nCycling Club: Ages 8-12\nWe ask that participants join with the ability to execute basic riding safety and that they feel comfortable riding on narrow single track. Joining the club will provide opportunities to experience different types of riding and advance their skills. DESCRIPTION:Mud season is nearly over\, and we want to celebrate!\nJoin us at Catamount and celebrate the seasons start with Fellowship of the Wheel (FOTW) and the Vermont Mountain Bike Association (VMBA)! A whole host of our community partners and race sponsors will be there with goodies and treats\, stay tuned for a complete list. \nWe will start the day off with a kids’ self guided nature hunt and/or story walk. At 10:30am we will host bike limbo! \nAdults and families are invited to join us for beginner\, intermediate\, and advanced group rides throughout the day at 11am\, 12pm and 1pm. This will be a great way to learn the trails at Catamount or dust off the skills. \nJoin us at the vendor city in the main field\, where we’ll have demos\, swag\, and so much more for you to check out. DESCRIPTION:A casual morning of birding for all interests and experience levels facilitated by NBNC staff and guest leaders. These outings are about enjoying\, learning about\, and spending time with wild birds. No binoculars? No ID guide? No problem! The only requirement is an appreciation of birds (though we do have binoculars for those who would like them). \n\nDistance: This outing covers between 0.5 and 1 mile.\nTerrain and surface: The trails are dirt carriage roads and >6’-wide grass paths over compacted dirt. Trails have no to minimal cross-grade. The outing will involve up to 100′ of gradual vertical elevation change. There are no benches along the route. SUMMARY:Tick Talks At Catamount
DESCRIPTION:Join Amanda on April 29th from 10am to 11am for Catamount’s first Tick Talk (the bug kind).  \nLearn about the different tick species found in Vermont\, which ones pose a rick to human health\, and how to best protect yourself while recreating outdoors in all seasons!  \nThis program will be show and tell/group discussion based with the possibility of a short walk in the Catamount Community Forest. We will be outside for the hour long program so please dress appropriately for the weather.
