SUMMARY:Pride Ski at Catamount Outdoor Family Center
DESCRIPTION:Join Audubon Vermont\, Vermont Land Trust\, Catamount Trails Association\, and Pride Center of Vermont for a fun and inclusive day of cross-country skiing at the Catamount Outdoor Family Center! We will ski for about an hour and a half around the 35 kilometers of groomed trails the center has to offer. The terrain is varied with both flat and hilly trails and includes both wooded and open sections that offer beautiful views and scenic vistas. We will stick together as a group on beginner trails\, but participants are welcome to challenge by choice if they want more advanced routes. This event was designed with the LGBTQIA+ community and allies in mind. \n\n\n\n\nWhile this is not a ski lesson\, we welcome skiers of all levels! We will have a short review at the beginning of the event of skiing tips\, then explore scenic trails at our own pace. Take in the winter beauty\, engage in meaningful conversations\, and enjoy the company of new friends in a supportive and open atmosphere! \nRegistration is required. Please indicate in the registration if you will need to borrow a complimentary pair of skis (covered by Audubon Vermont and Vermont Land Trust) or if you will bring your own. Have an extra pair of skis that you don’t mind lending out? Please bring them! \nThe Catamount Outdoor Family Center requires all trail users to complete a Participant Waiver.
