Should Catamount OFC need to cancel a race for any reason\, single-night entries will be carried over to the following race night.\n\nWhat is Cyclocross?\nFor those new to the sport you may be asking ‘What is Cyclocross?’ Although cyclocross shares some aspects of both mountain biking and road racing\, it is it’s own sport and you can expect some of the following features including; being on & off the bike\, stepping over natural & artificial barriers\, quick entry & exiting of corners\, hard surfaces transitioning to soft\, and negotiating tricky off-camber sections. Don’t let this intimidate you though. Cyclocross if fun! \nThe length of the course is 2.5-3.5 km and is designed for the skinny-tired cyclocross bike\, not a full-suspension mountain bike (a regular mountain bike is tolerable\, just expect more friction). \nIf you have never tried CX racing but always wanted to give it a shot\, this could be your year! Catamount always has a supportive environment for those who are just getting introduced to the sport. Hungry for competition? Not to worry\, test your skills against some of the best athletes. Either way the atmosphere is always welcoming and fun for the whole family. \n\nCX SERIES RATES:\n\nAdult 5 Week Series: $100\nStudent/Senior 5 Week Series: $90\nFamily 5 Week Series: $160\n\nCX SINGLE NIGHT RATES:\n\n\nSingle Night Entries for Cyclocross can be done on BikeReg : $25/ person *Please note that registration online closes at 3:00pm on race days.*\nSingle Night Entries at Catamount’s Hub: $30 *Please note that registration closes 5:15pm on site on race nights*\n\nRegister Here!

SUMMARY:GMCX 2026
DESCRIPTION:Register NowWelcome to the 5th annual Green Mountain Cyclocross! Racing will be on Sunday\, October 11th. We will also have 2 free skills clinics on Saturday\, October 10th. This event is run by Green Mountain Off-Road\, a 501(c)(3) non-profit\, and in partnership with the Catamount Outdoor Family Center. Proceeds from the race will help support the GMCX development race team\, Catamount’s youth programs\, as well as other local youth cycling organizations and racing endeavors. We look forward to welcoming you to northern Vermont at the most scenic race venue in the history of New England cyclocross. Scroll for some details below. \nRACE LICENSES:  GMCX is sanctioned under North American Bicycle Racing Association (NABRA). No membership or annual licenses are required. There is NO requirement for a USA Cycling license. JUST SHOW UP AND RACE! \nALL JUNIOR RACES ARE FREE thanks to generous support from Nick Depasquale Photography. \nREGISTER FOR A SECOND RACE FOR $20! \nCAMPING: There will be limited camping spots available on-site Saturday night. You can purchase camp spots on the registration page under “merchandise”. Cost is $20 per adult. \nPARKING: Parking at COFC is tight\, please follow our volunteer parking attendant’s expert flag waving and pointing. Parking is NOT permitted on the south side of Governor Chittenden Road. Overflow parking is located at the ‘Oval’ on the north side of the road just before you reach the Catamount Outdoor Center. \nTHERE ARE NO PETS ALLOWED AT THE CATAMOUNT OUTDOOR CENTER – We know\, your dog is goodest of all the good dogs\, but please leave that beast at home. We appreciate you respecting this rule of our gracious hosts Catamount Outdoor Family Center. \nTHE COURSE: Our course consists of an approximately 1.6 mile lap that includes a mix of fun and technical turns\, punchy climbs\, and longer power sections. The course includes several dismounts. We expect the fastest riders to cover the lap in about 7 minutes. Expect baller views. \nPRE-RIDING: There is NO course pre-riding during a race. To pre-ride\, ONLY enter the course BEYOND the start/finish line when the official confirms that the last rider of the current race has begun their last lap. DO NOT PASS anyone still racing. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. \nSTAGING: Staging for each race will occur 10 minutes before the designated start time. Staging will be by order of CrossResults ranking\, followed by day-of registration. \nCLUB ROW: The GMCX course is just across the road from the parking areas. You can purchase a 10X10 pop-up tent space for your team next to the course. Spaces are limited\, so reserve yours early! \nFOOD AND DRINK: Frost Brewing will be on site slinging brews from 11:00 to 4:00. GMCX volunteers will be grilling burgers\, veggie burgers\, and dogs for purchase\, and we will have cold seltzers and sodas. We will have apples and cider donuts for suggested donation of 50 cents per apple\, and $1.50 per donut. \nSKILLS CLINICS: with the goal of increasing participation numbers of WGD* and junior athletes\, we are offering 2 skills clinics on Saturday\, October 10th. One will be geared toward junior racers\, and the other for WGD athletes and they will be instructed by former World Cup athletes and local pros. Clinics will be tailored for novice to intermediate skill levels. Each clinic will be capped at 20 riders\, with spots reserved for individuals who identify as Black\, Indigenous\, and People of Color (BIPOC) participants. Clinic check-in will be at the Catamount Outdoor Family Center starting at 2:00 PM\, and the clinics will start at 3:00. Don’t have a cyclocross bike? That’s ok! Your gravel bike or hardtail mountain bike is good enough to get you started! \nTHE VENUE: The Catamount Outdoor Family Center (COFC) is in Williston\, Vermont\, just outside of Burlington\, with beautiful views of the Green Mountains. COFC began as a cross country ski center in 1978. It quickly expanded to include mountain bike and trail running\, and now also hosts a variety of outdoor and educational programming for all ages. It has a rich history of hosting local\, regional\, and international level bike racing\, including UCI cyclocross and mountain bike events. Racing GMCX will directly support Catamount’s ongoing outdoor efforts!

SUMMARY:RUTFest 2026
DESCRIPTION:Register for RUTfest!\nWelcome to the SIXTH annual RUTFest (Richmond Ultra Trail Festival) – a weekend devoted to running and hiking local trails with our community. This 36-hour “race” includes two different 3-4 mile trail loops at Catamount Outdoor Family Center\, with gorgeous views of Camel’s Hump and Mt. Mansfield. These two loops are run on repeat\, whenever you want. \nThis will be a relaxed\, low-key\, adventure run\, for the community and not for competition. This is the weekend to run (or walk) further than you ever have before. \nEntry fee- donation based. We want this to be an inclusive event and don’t want money to keep anyone from enjoying the trails\, the event\, or the community.\nHow much should you donate? We’ve got a variety of suggestions. Donate what feels fair to you for a 36-hour event (+1 bonus hour for Daylight Savings Time!). There are add-on donation options if you’d like to donate more to the organization of your choice. If a donation is out of your capability\, please email Premlinskey@gmail.com and we’ll get you set up with a free voucher. \nAll profits from the race are split 50/50 between Catamount Outdoor Family Center and Migrant Justice! \nCatamount Outdoor Family Center in Williston\, Vermont\, is a non-profit organization that manages the Catamount Community Forest\, offering year-round outdoor recreation like mountain biking\, hiking\, trail running\, snowshoeing\, and cross-country skiing on over 400 acres with extensive trail networks. It hosts events\, summer camps\, clubs\, lessons\, clinics\, and races for all ages and abilities! \nMigrant Justice is a Vermont-based\, immigrant farmworker-led organization that advocates for the human rights and economic justice of immigrant farmworkers\, particularly in the dairy industry. They organize for systemic change through campaigns like “Milk with Dignity\,” which improves conditions in the dairy supply chain\, and have successfully won policy changes for immigrant rights in Vermont\, such as access to healthcare and education. The organization also runs a rapid response network to counter immigration enforcement actions. \nRegistered participants will receive event updates and info by email. All participants will be asked to sign up for a 1-hour volunteer shift at the aid station as well as donate a snack to the aid station. \nRunners check in at the main aid station to run laps whenever they would like during the event. The loops alternate on the north and south side of Catamount\, about 3 and 4 miles respectively. You are free to come and go as you want all weekend long. Please check-in with a volunteer when you leave for safety reasons. \nThinking of running 100 miles? We have sweet buckles made that you can purchase after you finish. \nKickoff @ 6AM Saturday Oct. 31. Check-in any time\, all weekend. Closing @ 6PM Sunday Nov. 1. \nQUESTIONS?
