DESCRIPTION:Join us in exploring the Catamount Community Forest while enjoying winter activities like snowshoeing and cross-country skiing (no previous experience necessary). In addition to being active outside\, campers will learn about basic outdoor skills\, winter ecology\, Leave No Trace\, and environmental stewardship. We will also investigate our surroundings as real snow scientists thanks to our camps integrated SnowSchool curriculum. Our week of adventures may also include snow sculpture and igloo construction\, winter scavenger hunts\, winter art projects\, animal track and tree species recognition\, navigation\, sledding\, team building\, and more!
