DESCRIPTION:For those who feel passionately about mountain biking who know that the sport goes far beyond roots\, rocks\, and loam.\nTeam camaraderie and collective stoke are catalysts for pushing personal limits and encouraging others\, while growing as a person and as an athlete. We are thrilled to once again offer the Catamount Cycling Club for the 2023 riding season. \nThe Cycling Club is designed for young riders with a passion for the outdoors and their sport!\nCycling Club: Ages 8-12\nWe ask that participants join with the ability to execute basic riding safety and that they feel comfortable riding on narrow single track. Joining the club will provide opportunities to experience different types of riding and advance their skills. On Wednesday afternoons\, club members have the option to stay late and participate in the weekly mountain bike race starting at 6pm (weather dependent)! \nMore information found here.

We are thrilled to once again offer the Catamount Cycling Club for the 2023 riding season. \nThe Cycling Club is designed for young riders with a passion for the outdoors and their sport!\nCycling Club: Ages 8-12\nWe ask that participants join with the ability to execute basic riding safety and that they feel comfortable riding on narrow single track. Joining the club will provide opportunities to experience different types of riding and advance their skills. DESCRIPTION:Join Fellowship of the Wheel at Catamount Outdoor Family Center for a round of fun and casual racing! This Enduro-style event is meant to be a friendly and supportive atmosphere to encourage new riders and experienced riders alike to come outside and play. The open class event allows you to go at your own pace and will feature 2 timed stages. Prizes and schwag will be tossed out for the most spirited and fun-having competitors\, so whether you come through the finish line with a sigh of relief for completing your first-ever enduro or mashing the pedals to improve your times\, we have tokens of our appreciation for your participation! \nThis is the first event of a 5 race series. Catamount is a new venue and the perfect season opener with terrain well-suited for first-time racers and experienced racers. Stage 1 will utilize trails Bear Trap\, Look Out\, and Slalom. Stage 2 will utilize trails Coyote Turnpike\, Look Out\, and Three Rivers. SUMMARY:Spring Scrimage-Vermont Youth Cycling
DESCRIPTION:Youth riders are invited to test their spring fitness and technical skills on a 1\, 2 or 3 lap ~5k course at the Catamount Outdoor Family Center. All races begin at 10:00am (or shortly thereafter)\, are hand-timed\, and prizes will be given to all participants. No podiums. Stick around and explore the Catamount trails on a 1-hr group ride led by VTYC volunteers following the scrimmage. Free to VTYC members; $10 for non-members. www.vtyouthcycling.org.\n\nLearn more about Catamount’s team here.
