DESCRIPTION:Monday Evening MTB Novice Ride Join us at Catamount every Monday evening this summer for our volunteer-led guided MTB Novice Rides! \nStarting on May 11th\, and running each Monday (weather dependent) until the end of September\, enjoy riding through the Catamount Community Forest on beginner and novice-friendly trails from 6:00pm to ~7:30pm at a mellow pace. These rides are perfect for those new to mountain biking or those looking for a mellow\, group ride. \nThe Monday series increases in difficulty each week and then resets at the start of the following month. For these rides\, we will only use double-track and single-track green trails\, which are less technical and ideal for those getting comfortable on their bikes. Through games\, skill-building activities\, and trail rides\, riders will develop balance\, braking control\, body position\, and trail awareness. \nBeyond riding skills\, Clovers Roller’s encourages teamwork\, perseverance\, and a love for the outdoors. Coaches foster a positive environment where riders support one another\, challenge themselves\, and celebrate progress along the way. \nParticipants will also learn about trail stewardship and Leave No Trace principles while exploring the beautiful trails of the Catamount Community Forest. \nRiders should be able to pedal independently\, stop using hand brakes\, steer confidently\, and have some experience riding on unpaved paths or gentle terrain. DESCRIPTION:Catamount OFC’s Cycling Club – 2026 Season\n\n\nMAD MAXERS: ~Ages 11-14 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIntermediate to Advanced – Shredding with Purpose \nMad Maxer riders have solid trail experience and are ready to sharpen their skills and take on more challenging rides. Participants should be confident on green & blue trails\, and comfortable with moderate climbs\, descents\, and riding for longer durations. \nThis group focuses on more racing and technical riding: cornering technique\, riding at speed\, line choice\, and progression toward jumps\, manuals\, and other trail features\, all based on individual readiness. Riders will also learn about trail etiquette\, race dynamics\, and ride preparedness\, including basic on-trail repairs and navigation. \nCheck out our Cycling Club page to learn more!
