SUMMARY:2025 Social Thursday Guided Ride
DESCRIPTION:Thursday Evening MTB Social Ride – Intermediate & AboveJoin us at Catamount every Thursday evening this fall for our volunteer-led guided Social Rides! \nBring a bike light or headlamp if you have one as its getting darker earlier in the evenings and you may want more light towards the end of the ride. \nStarting on May 15th and running each Thursday (weather dependent) until ~mid-October\, ride through the Catamount Community Forest from 6:00pm to 8:00pm with Catamount OFC community. These rides\, designed for more experienced riders\, are a great way to meet other enthusiast in the community and explore Catamount’s trail network. \nThe Thursday series increases in difficulty each week and then resets at the start of the following month. For these rides\, we will use double-track as well as green\, blue\, and some black single-track trails\, which are more technical and ideal for those who are comfortable on their bikes and a variety of terrain. This is a no-drop ride AKA no red trails or jump/drop lines will be used. \nPlease note\, this is a group ride and NOT a clinic or lesson—while tips may be shared\, those seeking skill instruction and sessioning of features should register for one of our Beginner MTB clinic options.  \nWhat: MTB Social RideWhen: Every Thursday (weather dependent) Meet: 6:00 / Ride: 6:15Where: Meet up at COFC HUBPace: Intermediate but socialLevel: Intermediate and Advanced RidersTerrain: Green\, Blue\, and Black TrailsDuration: ~1.5 to 2.5 hoursCost: First ride FREE\, members FREE\, $10/ride thereafterAny cancellations will be posted here. \nLooking for a beginner-friendly ride?
