DESCRIPTION:Join Catamount’s creators Jim & Lucy McCullough for a Nordic Walking and Trekking Series this summer! \nNordic Walking provides increased stability. It can provide a more complete body workout if desired. We will be offering basic instruction on the proper use of trekking poles while walking on easy trails; progressing to more challenging terrain as the group dictates and progresses. \nJim promises\, “Some talk… more walk” with interesting history of Catamount and the Catamount Community Forest. \nMake sure to bring your trekking poles. We will have a limited number of trekking poles available for renting at $5 each. \nWho: Lucy and Jim McCullough; Nordic Walking and Trekking instructors\nWhat: Nordic Walking and Trekking instruction and tours\nWhen: 1st and 3rd Friday of the month; June 2- August 25; 6:00-7:15 PM\nWhere: Catamount Outdoor Family Center\nCost: $5 each
