SUMMARY:Bird Walk for New and Novice Birders at Catamount Community Forest
DESCRIPTION:This small-group outing is designed as an opportunity for those with very little birding experience to acquire skills and knowledge to more fully enjoy the pleasure of observing birds in the wild. \nLed by experienced birders from the Green Mountain Bird Alliance\, participants will learn about tools and methods allowing for easy identification of common and not-so-common species. Binoculars will be provided to anyone needing them. \nTo make this a truly valuable learning experience\, we will be doing this in two groups of 10 participants\, the first starting at 8:00 AM and the second at 9:30 AM.
