SUMMARY:Novice Monday: Guided Ride
DESCRIPTION:Monday Evening MTB Novice Ride Join us at Catamount every Monday evening this summer for our volunteer-led guided MTB Novice Rides! \nStarting on May 11th\, and running each Monday (weather dependent) until the end of September\, enjoy riding through the Catamount Community Forest on beginner and novice-friendly trails from 6:00pm to ~7:30pm at a mellow pace. These rides are perfect for those new to mountain biking or those looking for a mellow\, group ride. \nThe Monday series increases in difficulty each week and then resets at the start of the following month. For these rides\, we will only use double-track and single-track green trails\, which are less technical and ideal for those getting comfortable on their bikes. Some of our easier blue trails may be used toward the end of the month\, depending on the group. \nPlease note\, this is a group ride and NOT a clinic or lesson. While tips may be shared\, those seeking skill instruction and sessioning of features should register for one of our Beginner MTB clinic options. \nWhat: MTB Novice RideWhen: Every Monday (weather dependent) Meet: 6:00 / Ride: 6:15Where: Meet up at COFC parking lotPace: MellowLevel: Beginner & Novice Riders Terrain: Double Track & Single Track Green TrailsDuration: ~1.5 hoursCost: Free to members; $10.70 for non-members \nAny cancelations will be posted here\, on FB\, and on our instagram stories. \nLooking for an intermediate ride? Check out our Thursday Night Social Series!
